Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh was established in 1965 and is the region’s evidenced-based youth mentoring agency. The program target population includes children ages 6-18 from single parent families, low-income households, and underperforming schools.
Big Brothers Big Sisters helps create meaningful relationships between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”) in the Greater Pittsburgh region, designed to develop strong one-on-one relationships and help make a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young children.
