10% of all owner net profits from this business are donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh was established in 1965 and is the region’s evidenced-based youth mentoring agency. The program target population includes children ages 6-18 from single parent families, low-income households, and underperforming schools.

Big Brothers Big Sisters helps create meaningful relationships between adult volunteers (“Bigs”)  and children (“Littles”) in the Greater Pittsburgh region, designed to develop strong one-on-one relationships and help make a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young children.

The owner of Steel City Jet Ski Rentals chose to support Big Brothers Big Sisters because he strongly believes in their mission and feels it is essential to have meaningful relationships in life, especially at a young age, like those built through this organization. We are proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh and if you’d like to support as well you can do so below!

JDRF Giving Back

Additionally, 5% of all owner net profits will be donated to JDRF in support of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), in loving memory of Eric Lucht.

When you have T1D, your body stops producing insulin—a hormone essential to turning food into energy. Managing the disease is a constant struggle that involves monitoring your blood-sugar level, administering insulin, and carefully balancing these insulin doses with your eating and activity. Even with a strict regimen, people with T1D may still experience dangerously high or low blood-glucose levels that can, in extreme cases, be life threatening.

With T1D there are no days off and there is no cure. But there is hope.
Scientific advances are being turned into therapies that are changing the course of T1D. And together, we have the power to drive these therapies to market as quickly as we can.

By donating, you support life-changing research that helps people with T1D live healthier and longer, until a cure is found. If you’d also like to donate, feel free to do so at the link below:
